- 1 cup sooji (semolina)
- 1 cup Yoghurt
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
- 1 cup corn kernels
- 1 midium size finely chopped green capsicum

- 1 midium size finely chopped tomatoes
- 1 midium size finely chopped onion
- 1/2 Grated beetroot
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green coriander leaves
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tbsp red chilly flakes
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin coriander powder
- 10-12 whole black pepper
- Water as per required
- 1/2 tsp cooking soda
- 2 tbsp oil for tempering
- 2 tsp mustard seeds
- 2 tbsp white sesame seeds
Instructions to make to make Veg Sooji Or Semolina Bites
- First chop all the vegetables in the chopper as per the ingredients.
- Now add semolina in a large bowl and add rice flour and yoghurt.
- Now add chopped cabbage, chopped capsicum, chopped carrot, chopped onion, chopped tomato, grated beetroot and corn kernels. Now add salt, red chili flakes, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander cumin powder, whole black pepper and chopped green coriander leaves and mix it.
- Now add a little water and prepare the batter. Now add baking soda and mix well
- Now let's Tempering this semolina batter. For this, heat oil in a nonstick pan, add mustard seeds to it, add sesame seeds to it and immediately spread a thick layer of semolina. Cover and simmer over low heat on a crispy semolina bites.
- Then when one side is done, turn the other side and let it become crispy. Once both sides are crispy, cool and cut into pieces and serve hot.
