- Cook the chicken till tender. The chicken should be semi dry
- Boil the rice with few whole spices. Cook till 3/4 done. Strain and keep aside
- Now in a large vessel place the chicken at the bottom
- Place the cooked rice on the chicken. Spread some fried onions on top of the rice. Few drops of saffron also. Cover with a foil and then with lid
- Place on a tawa for 10 min high flame, then for 10 mins on slow flame. Biryani is ready
