  1. For khichdi
  2. Put a pan on the flame, add some oil, cumin seeds, cloves, pepper corn, elaichi, bay leaves, cinnamon stick and let it splatter. Add in some onion into it and cook it until it become light pink in colour then add ginger-garlic paste and cook it until it's raw smell is gone the add turmeric powder and cool it well
  3. Add curd into it and let it cook for sometime until it leave the sides of the pan. Then add in the soaked rice and red lentil into and mix it properly.

  7. Put a pan on the flame add chopped onion, tamarind pulp, chopped mint and coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, grind sesame seeds, salt and add in some water and let it boil for 5-10 minutes
  8. Temper it well and for that put some oil, cumin seeds, slit green chillies into a pan and prepare a temper and add that into your khatta.
